Project Engineer (Johor Bahru)

Job Description:

1. Project Planning & Scheduling
2. Develop and support project plans, timelines, and budgets aligned with objectives.
3. Stakeholder Coordination
4. Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
5. Site Monitoring & Progress Tracking
6. Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to approved plans and timelines.
7. Quality Control & Inspections
8. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
9. Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting
10. Identify construction issues early and implement corrective solutions.
11. Contractor & Consultant Management
12. Manage contractors performance, schedules, and resolve technical or logistical issues.
13. Documentation & Reporting
14. Maintain accurate project records and prepare regular progress and risk reports.
15. Regulatory Compliance
16. Ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and approval requirements.
17. Cost & Budget Monitoring
18. Track project costs, prevent overruns, and support value engineering initiatives.
19. Risk & Sustainability Management
20. Mitigate project risks while promoting sustainable and innovative construction practices.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience in construction, project management, or property development.
3. Proficiency in construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera) and basic understanding of building systems.
4. Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.
5. Strong communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
7. Certifications in QLASSIC is a plus
