Execute the developed project plans according to the established requirement for the implementation of highway technology and system advancements projects through close working relationship with operations and project teams to integrate new technologies into existing highway infrastructure, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption.
Initiate and drive pilot projects to test and evaluate the feasibility and practicality of new technologies on our highway and toll systems and foster a culture of innovation by researching and experimenting with new technologies and methodologies.
Collaborate with maintenance and project teams to maintain and upgrade existing highway and toll infrastructure with new technologies taking into consideration the following aspects:
Adaptation - Modify and upgrade existing highway and toll infrastructure to support the integration of new technologies.
Compatibility - Ensure that the new technology is compatible with existing infrastructure, or plan for a phased transition to accommodate the integration.
Scalability - Consider scalability factors to accommodate future growth and changes in technology.
Evaluate the performance of technology deployments and adjust strategies as needed by continuously working together with project teams.
Continuous assessment of emerging technologies and trends in the field of highway and toll infrastructure to identify opportunities for improvement to materialize the company aspiration to develop a smart highway.
Study and recommend industry standards and best practices for the adoption of innovative highway and toll technologies.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering or relevant technical field.
5-7 years experience in the relevant technical profession with experience in technical, project, and routine management in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic systems.
Good understanding of standards and requirements for Projects Implementation.
Good interaction with government authorities and negotiation skills with contractors/consultants and government authorities
