Key Responsibilities:
- Create visual representations and layout drawings of company products for use in sales, manufacturing, and formwork erection.
- Provide engineering support to sales teams and customers to ensure the safe and effective use of the product.
- Recommend materials, design methods, and layout improvements aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
- Draft preliminary layouts and determine equipment requirements for both standard and custom projects.
- Produce detailed erection and construction drawings for projects as assigned.
- Perform drafting and engineering tasks for pre-sale activities in coordination with District Engineers and other stakeholders.
- Review and verify drawings and equipment take-offs; guide Drafters and Checkers as needed.
- Supervise specific projects or project components when required.
- Assist in the development and coordination of training materials related to formwork systems, policies, and procedures.
- Propose updates to drafting standards and suggest improvements to the engineering process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.
- Up to 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proven working knowledge of Revit and CAD.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, organisational, and computer skills.
- Familiarity with industry-specific design standards and best practices.
- Ability to review engineering drawings and perform engineering calculations, quantity take-off, and technical assessments to support project planning and execution.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to resolve engineering and construction-related issues through sound calculations and engineering judgment.
