Key Responsibilities
Capital Strategy & Restructuring
- Lead capital raising efforts including debt, equity, and blended finance instruments
- Structure green bonds, sustainability-linked loans, and other ESG-aligned financing tools
- Manage relationships with development banks, institutional investors, and commercial lenders
Project Finance Execution
- Structure and execute project finance deals for solar, wind, battery storage, and hybrid projects
- Oversee financial modeling, risk allocation, and bankability assessments
- Negotiate term sheets, financing agreements, and coordinate due diligence with legal and technical advisors
M&A and Investment Support
- Support acquisition and divestment of renewable energy assets across Asia
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and investment committee presentations
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize asset performance and returns
Stakeholder Engagement
- Interface with PE sponsors, board members, and strategic partners on financial strategy
- Prepare investment memos, board papers, and financial dashboards for senior leadership
Regional Leadership
- Navigate regulatory frameworks and market dynamics across diverse Asian jurisdictions
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team with deep sector expertise
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-7 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, or investment banking, with CFA or equivalent designation
- Proven track record in renewable energy transactions, corporate restructuring exercises and infrastructure financing
- Experience in a PE-backed environment or high-growth energy platform preferred; with understanding of capital markets, ESG finance, and risk structuring
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
