Job Summary
Support factory manpower planning and cost control initiatives through data analysis, productivity improvement, and manufacturing cost management. Work closely with production teams to optimize manpower utilization and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor factory manpower planning and utilization.
- Establish and maintain standard manpower requirements for manufacturing operations.
- Analyze and control manufacturing labor costs to support operational targets.
- Forecast future manpower and labor costs based on production orders and demand projections.
- Conduct productivity and efficiency analyses to identify improvement opportunities.
- Apply Industrial Engineering (IE) methodologies such as line balancing, ECRS, and work study to improve operational performance.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Analytics, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, preferably from Industrial Engineering or Finance-related disciplines.
- Candidates from other disciplines should possess 2–3 years of relevant Industrial Engineering or manufacturing analysis experience.
- Knowledge of Industrial Engineering tools and techniques, including Line Balancing, ECRS, Time Study, and Work Measurement.
- Experience in productivity improvement or cost reduction projects is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
