How you create impact
You will complete pricing activities within set timelines to ensure accurate, profitable quotations aligned with client scope and Project Logistics standards. Your work will balance cost control and margin optimization to support business profitability.
Your primary objective will be to utilize approved pricing tools, collaborate within a structured team, cross-train across modes of transport, and ensure all quotes meet scope and service level agreements.
You will manage supplier communication, apply financial acumen, and select optimal solutions to meet client expectations while achieving profitability targets.
What we would like you to bring
- Utilize all approved pricing tools and portals to search for carriers and cost information; work within a structured team environment based on transport mode and cargo type competencies
- Ensure all costing for services aligns with service level agreements and scope of work ordered; communicate clear scope to service providers when requesting pricing
- Select the best service options that maximize profitability while meeting client expectations and applying minimum selling margins throughout
- Cross-train across all pricing functions by mode of transport and cargo type to build versatility and team capability
- Ensure accurate and timely logging of all quotes; follow Special Cargo and Marine/Transport Engineering processes for quote accuracy
- Maintain individual KPIs as outlined by management; support manager in procurement sourcing initiatives and TMS rate automation
- Request follow-up information from clients on all pricing; demonstrate strong financial acumen and foster solution-oriented attitude
- Ensure sub-contractors and suppliers meet all HSE requirements including proper equipment, safe cargo handling practices, and required compliance checklists
