Job Outline:
. Manage and coordinate injection molding projects from concept through to production.
. Liaise with cross-functional teams including design, tooling, quality, and production to ensure project success.
. Evaluate and approve mold designs and modifications in collaboration with toolmakers and suppliers.
. Provide technical support during mold trials, troubleshooting molding issues, and implementing corrective actions.
. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and status reports.
. Ensure that all projects comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
. Source and manage suppliers and vendors involved in tooling and component supply.
. Drive continuous improvement in molding processes and tooling performance.
. Participate in DEMEA and PEMEA activities for new or modified products.
. Support validation and documentation for new tool launches (IQ, OQ, PQ).
Academic Qualification & Skill Required:
. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
. 3-5 years of experience in project engineering, specifically in injection moulding.
. Strong understanding of mould design, plastic materials, and injection moulding processes.
. Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and project management tools.
. Knowledge of scientific moulding principles and process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
. Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
. Experience in medical device, automotive, or high-precision plastic components.
. Experience with ISO 13485, IATF 16949, or other regulated environments.
