We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Technical Program Management (TPM) Intern to support our cross-functional engineering and PMO teams. In this role, you will assist in tracking hardware/software project deliverables, refining PMO processes, and coordinating across cross-functional engineering disciplines.
Refresh HPS PMO Continuous Improvement structure and process
- Sort and prioritize AIs, questions, and ideas/gaps to resolve
- Set up review & prioritization process
- Report on completion
- Update PMO training / HPS Learning Academy
- Create/Update KIN training content
- Update the Learning Academy content
- Link to Self Audit and Employee Central
- Establish PMO Training calendar and publish yearly PMO Calendar
Key Responsibilities
- Program Execution & Support: Assist TPMs in tracking hardware and software program milestones, schedule updates, action items (AIs), and issue triage.
- PMO Process & Continuous Improvement: Help organize, prioritize, and track project action items, gaps, and ideas for continuous process improvement.
- Documentation & Reporting: Support project reporting, update internal PMO learning materials/training content, and assist with training calendar scheduling.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a bridge between engineering, QA, and project management stakeholders to keep projects aligned and moving forward.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills in English; comfortable expressing ideas clearly and collaborating across teams.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills with a proactive learning attitude and ability to work autonomously once trained.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); basic exposure to project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) is a plus.
Engineering & Technical Qualifications (Preferred / Plus)
- Engineering Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of engineering principles, hardware/analog electronics, reading/understanding engineering drawings, or basic software engineering/computer architecture.
- Product Lifecycle & Manufacturing: Familiarity with basic manufacturing processes, ICT systems, or hardware/software product development lifecycles (e.g., EVT, DVT, PVT, Agile).
- Programming Skills: Exposure to at least one programming/scripting language or familiarity with software/firmware basics (e.g., Linux, networking basics).
