About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Project Management Office (PMO) as a PMO Intern. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project coordination, governance, and support within a dynamic PMO environment. You will assist in tracking project performance, maintaining project documentation, supporting project risk management, while learning best practices in project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining and updating PMO documentation, including project plans, status reports, and process templates.
  • Support project managers with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
  • Help track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines using PMO tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Assist with project risk management activities, including maintaining the risk register, tracking mitigation actions, and updating risk status reports.
  • Support basic analysis of project data to help identify trends in timelines, budgets, or common project issues.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and the PMO.
  • Support project initiation by issuing out Statement of Works (SOW) based on scope provided by the project managers.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance / Accounting, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Basic analytical skills and comfort working with data; experience with Excel for organizing and summarizing information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
