Title: Project Manager – APAC Legal Entity Rationalization (LER)
Purpose
Lead the end-to-end delivery of the APAC Legal Entity Rationalization (LER) program across multiple countries, driving alignment, decision-making, and execution through influence rather than direct authority. The role is expected to provide leadership across cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery of a strategically important transformation program.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end execution of the APAC LER program across the region.
- Drive alignment and decision-making across Finance, Legal, Tax, IT, HR, Operations and country leadership teams to ensure timely delivery of program objectives.
- Maintain the integrated program plan, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action logs.
- Coordinate and host country-level and regional LER governance meetings.
- Track progress across all workstreams and ensure follow-up of agreed actions.
- Act as the central coordination point between country teams, APAC functions, external advisors, and Group stakeholders.
- Influence and coordinate 50+ cross-functional stakeholders across APAC without direct reporting authority, ensuring accountability and execution across all workstreams.
- Support issue resolution and escalation management across countries and functions.
- Challenge assumptions, identify execution gaps, and proactively drive resolution of complex cross-functional issues.
- Coordinate benefits tracking and reporting inputs from Finance, Tax, Legal, and Operations teams.
- Manage program documentation, reporting packs, dashboards, and management updates.
- Coordinate external advisor engagement and support budget/vendor administration processes.
- Support transition planning, business transfers, entity integrations, liquidations, and related activities as required.
- Prepare and facilitate Steering Committee and executive governance meetings, providing clear recommendations, decision points, and escalation where appropriate.
Preferred Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in project/program management, transformation, M&A integration, corporate restructuring, or related fields. Legal exposure and corporate governance awareness
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional transformation programs involving multiple countries and executive stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and drive execution without direct authority.
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive outcomes without formal line management responsibility.
- Experience working with senior executives and governance forums.
- Legal entity rationalization, post-merger integration, corporate governance, finance, legal, or consulting experience is advantageous.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels, with a willingness to be hands-on in planning, reporting, issue tracking, and day-to-day execution.
