Job Description

JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE

To plan and manage projects deliverables to ensure the projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. Gather and analyze functional requirement from Business and transform into detail business and functional documentation. Provide guidance on non-functional procedure update for any business automation or transformation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Initiation Management

  • Ensure high level project scope is defined
  • Ensure project team is identified and their roles & responsibilities are defined.
  • Develop Project Charter, Project Plan and Project Team Structure
  • Liaise with external vendors in sourcing of solutions or applications.
  • Perform tendering exercise (i.e. RFI, RFP) for evaluation and selection of vendors.
  • Prepare and present to management committees for endorsement/approval
  • Review and manage contract negotiations.
  • Procure and manage the required hardware and software implementation

Project Scope and Time Management

  • Manage scope of work and ensure the vendor delivers within the agreed scope.
  • Attain business requirements and ensure the requirements specifications are documented and signed off. Quality assured vendor's deliverables and documentations.
  • Manage and monitor user testing
  • Manage and monitor project progress to ensure project is delivered within timeline.
  • Ensure issues are resolved timely in order not to impact the project timeline.

Project Stakeholders Management

  • Reporting to stakeholders on project delivery and preparation of reports defining progress, problems and solutions

Review user requirement specifications

  • To communicate with users to ensure business process and workflow requirements are met.
  • Discussed and analyzed business needs of users, to help identify business problems and operational process, propose and implement solution in new and automation ways.
  • To look into and review the user requirements map to the real business need, are approved & signoff by all relevant stakeholders,and meet essential quality standards.

User Testing

  • Develops and assist to review the business test scenarios and test cases based on the requirements documents.
  • To corordinate on user testing and manage user issue logs
  • To follow up with vendor on the reported issues and resolution
  • Provide functional and technical solutions documentation for support of in-house and external applications during and after project implementations
  • Provide post-implementation support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 5 years of experience in Investment Bank Equity broking 5 years
  • Proven project management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Scrum Certification
  • Agile Certification
