Job Description
We are hiring a
Project Manager / Business Development professional to support the expansion of a biomass energy business in Malaysia.
This is a
hands-on role involving project execution, partner coordination, and business development within the industrial and energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project execution (planning, implementation, operations coordination)
- Develop and maintain partnerships with:
- Industrial clients (factories, plants)
- Palm oil mills (biomass suppliers)
- Equipment vendors (e.g. boiler systems)
- Identify business opportunities and support new client acquisition
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies
- Lead stakeholder coordination and commercial discussions
- Work closely with internal teams and Japan HQ on project alignment
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in: Project Management / Business Development / Technical Sales
- Experience handling external stakeholders, partners, or clients
- Background in industries such as:
- Energy / Renewable Energy
- Manufacturing / Industrial
- Waste Management / Engineering / Infrastructure
- Ability to understand technical concepts (engineering background not required)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
