Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic Finance Transformation initiatives across the Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, external vendors and consulting partners to successfully implement finance transformation initiatives.
The Project Manager will manage one or more transformation workstreams such as:
- Finance Systems Implementation
- Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
- Finance Data Management
- Execution of Finance Target Operating Model
- Chart of Accounts Harmonisation
- Automation & Digitalisation Initiatives
The role requires strong project management capabilities, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver complex cross-functional initiatives within agreed timelines, scope and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Lead the planning, execution and delivery of Finance Transformation initiatives from initiation through implementation.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones and resource plans.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budget and quality to ensure successful delivery.
- Establish project governance and reporting mechanisms.
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
- Coordinate project activities across business, technology and vendor teams.
Business Engagement
- Work closely with Finance stakeholders to understand business objectives and transformation requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and design sessions.
- Translate business needs into actionable project plans.
- Ensure business readiness throughout project implementation
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Group Finance, Technology and business units.
- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Present project updates to Programme Steering Committee (PSC), senior management and project sponsors.
- Escalate critical issues and recommend mitigation strategies.
Project Governance
- Prepare project status reports, executive dashboards and Steering Committee papers.
- Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) registers.
- Ensure compliance with programme governance standards and project management methodologies.
- Track project benefits and implementation milestones.
Vendor & Consulting Management
- Coordinate activities with implementation partners, consultants and vendors.
- Review deliverables to ensure quality and contractual compliance.
- Support vendor evaluation and selection activities where required.
Change Management
- Support organisational change management activities.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), training and deployment planning.
- Ensure smooth transition into Business-as-Usual (BAU).

Experience Requirements
Mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
- Proven experience managing:
- System implementation projects; and/or
- Business process improvement or transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing project schedules, risks and budgets.
- Experience presenting to senior management.
Candidates with experience delivering Finance-related initiatives will have a significant advantage, including:
- Finance Transformation Programmes
- ERP implementations

- General Ledger transformation

Experience within the banking or financial services industry is highly desirable.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Information Technology
- or equivalent
Professional certification is an advantage:
