Job Description

An established organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in health insurance or claims-related projects to drive critical business and system initiatives.

This role is ideal for a delivery-focused professional who understands the operational and regulatory complexities of health insurance and has successfully managed projects across claims processing, policy administration, or healthcare ecosystems.

You will play a key role in delivering transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency, improve customer outcomes, and strengthen operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across health insurance or claims-related initiatives (system enhancements, digital transformation, process optimisation, regulatory updates).

  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.

  • Partner with stakeholders across operations, claims, underwriting, IT, finance, and compliance.

  • Manage vendors and third-party administrators where applicable.

  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring regulatory and operational requirements are met.

  • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation, and post-launch stabilisation.

  • Drive change management and stakeholder communication to ensure smooth adoption.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of project management experience, with direct experience in health insurance or claims projects.

  • Strong understanding of claims workflows, policy administration systems, provider networks, or healthcare-related regulations.

  • Proven track record delivering system or process transformation initiatives.

  • Experience working closely with both business and IT teams.

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements within the insurance industry.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an advantage.
