Our client is a globally recognised leader in industrial measurement and instrumentation solutions, serving major upstream oil and gas operators worldwide. Due to continued project wins in the floating production sector, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex Fiscal Metering Skid projects for Floating Production Facilities including FPSOs, FPUs, and FLNGs.
This is a high-profile, technically demanding role with significant interface across shipyards, offshore fabrication yards, EPC contractors, and classification societies. The successful candidate will take full ownership of project delivery from order handover through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of fiscal metering skid projects for floating production facilities, spanning engineering, procurement, fabrication, FAT, certification, shipment, offshore installation support, and commissioning.
- Serve as the primary interface with customers, shipyards, fabrication yards, EPCs, and classification societies (ABS, DNV, BV, LR).
- Ensure compliance with offshore, marine, and fiscal metering standards and certifications including API, ISO, IEC, ATEX/IECEx, and custody transfer requirements.
- Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, piping, and structural engineering teams to ensure skid designs meet offshore requirements including lifting, fatigue, corrosion protection, weight, and footprint constraints.
- Manage fabrication yard activities, ensuring vendor and sub-vendor adherence to safety, quality, inspection, and test plans.
- Plan and manage FAT, SAT, certification inspections, punch list closure, and shipment release.
- Manage project cost, schedule, risk, change orders, and revenue forecasting in line with contractual commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management within engineered systems or offshore projects.
- Strong working knowledge of custody transfer metering systems, piping systems, and offshore mechanical design practices.
- Familiarity with flow measurement products and gas analysis systems used in upstream oil and gas applications.
- Strong working knowledge of offshore certification processes and classification society requirements.
- Proven experience working with shipyards and offshore fabrication yards.
- Strong stakeholder management, commercial, and financial acumen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (strongly preferred).
- Prior hands-on experience delivering fiscal metering skids or similar packaged equipment for FPSOs or offshore production facilities.
