Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the overall project lifecycle, including planning, coordination, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of LSS project activities across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost effective project delivery.
- Allocate and manage project resources (labour, materials, and equipment) to optimize efficiency and maximize project outcomes.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, and site) as well as external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities such as TNB, ST, and SEDA).
- Monitor project progress, site activities, and performance, ensuring alignment with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify, manage, and resolve project issues, risks, and conflicts, escalating when necessary.
- Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, proposals, and technical documentation. 9. Manage contractual matters, including variations, deviations, and documentation requirements.
- Support permit applications, regulatory submissions, and correspondence with relevant authorities. 1
- Organise and participate in project meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items. 1
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
- Support quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and project handover documentation.
- Coach, support, and coordinate project team members and contractors to ensure accountability and performance.
- Continuously monitor project performance and identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Renewable Energy) or any related discipline.
- 5- 10 years of relevant experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or utilities projects.
- Exposure to utility-scale solar PV projects or other RE infrastructure. Strong organisational and coordination skills with an eye for details.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across levels. Self-driven, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of grid interconnection procedures, EPCC workflows, and LSS regulatory frameworks is a plus
