We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of large-scale solar farm EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and effective stakeholder coordination across the entire project lifecycle.
Job Descriptions:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale solar farm EPCC projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget
- Develop detailed project execution plans, work schedules, resource allocation strategies, and risk management plans
- Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, HSE, quality, commercial) to align project execution with company standards and objectives
- Review and approve technical submissions, method statements, and design documents to ensure alignment with project specifications
- Collaborate with design consultants and the engineering team to resolve technical issues and optimize constructability
- Act as the principal point of contact for clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure effective communication and alignment among all stakeholders through regular coordination meetings and progress updates
- Proactively manage contractual obligations and resolve project-related disputes or issues in a timely manner
- Liaise with site teams to track physical progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Monitor project budgets and financial performance, including cost tracking, variation management, and claim evaluation
- Ensure timely approvals of progress claims, VO (Variation Orders), and payment certifications
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on schedule, cost, and quality
- Ensure all documentation is in compliance with company and client requirements for project closure and audit purposes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical) or equivalent
- At least 5 years of project management experience, preferably with a minimum of 3 years in utility-scale solar or renewable energy EPCC projects
- Solid understanding of solar PV systems, substation integration, and grid-connection processes
- Proven track record in managing complex, fast-track infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and familiar with contract frameworks such as FIDIC or EPC agreements
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and be based at project sites as required
