Our client is a well-established Johor Bahrubased electrical engineering contractor with over 30 years of proven experience delivering Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and infrastructure projects across Johor and Peninsular Malaysia.
Role Description
- Prepare, plan, organize, monitor, and manage Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects from initiation through to completion
- Lead and coordinate Project Engineers, including task delegation and conducting weekly project meetings
- Work closely with Site Managers to ensure smooth execution through effective planning, resource allocation, and site coordination
- Liaise with clients and consultants to clarify requirements, timelines, and technical specifications; proactively resolve site and technical issues
- Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors, Purchasers, Contract Clerks, and internal stakeholders to manage costs, materials, schedules, and resources
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Represent the company in site meetings and client discussions, prepare progress reports, and support management decision-making
Oversee infrastructure-related M&E systems including:
- Traffic light power supply
- Street lighting
- Utilities distribution
- Public infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience managing M&E or infrastructure projects
- Experience in traffic systems, utilities, or building services is highly preferred
- Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiar with project management methodologies, industry standards, and safety regulations
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
