Looking to step up into a highly autonomous regional leadership role without stepping away from the forefront of hyperscale delivery
We are partnering exclusively with a global heavyweight in data centre contractor space. As they aggressively expand their APAC footprint, they are looking to bring in a SEA lead.
They are now looking for a highly autonomous Project Manager to step in as their lead.
This is not a standard site-level PM role. You will be taking regional ownership of the mechanical delivery across multiple concurrent hyperscale sites, getting hands-on with the most in-demand technology in the global market: Liquid Cooling Infrastructure.
The Role
Reporting directly to the APAC Project Director, you will act as the tip of the spear for all mechanical and cooling systems integration. You will be completely autonomous in managing local contractors, filtering out site noise, and driving the final delivery for massive hyperscale clients.
Your Core Mandate Includes
- Liquid Cooling & White Space Delivery: Overseeing the installation and integration of Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) and advanced liquid cooling architecture directly inside the data hall.
- Heavy Mechanical & Piping: Driving the execution of AHU-based cooling systems, heat rejection technologies, and complex chilled/condenser water piping networks.
- Commissioning & Handover: Leading the final QA/QC, system checks, flushing, pressure testing, and functional performance testing to ensure operational readiness before client handover.
- Commercial & Stakeholder Leadership: Acting as the primary liaison between on-site construction teams, global vendors, and international clients, proactively mitigating risks and controlling the CAPEX/schedule.
The Ideal Profile We are looking for a pure delivery specialistsomeone who understands the physical architecture and cooling dynamics of a hyperscale white space like the back of their hand.
- Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent heavy MEP construction background).
- Hyperscale Pedigree: 5+ years of project management experience delivering medium to large-scale data centre infrastructure, clean rooms, or semiconductor fabs.
- Technical Mastery: Deep, granular knowledge of AHUs, chilled water systems, and piping networks. (Direct experience with CDUs, Direct-to-Chip, or RDHx liquid cooling is highly advantageous).
- The Mindset: You do not need hand-holding. You are decisive, commercially sharp, and capable of presenting complex engineering solutions to Western clients and an international leadership board.
