about the job
- Lead end-to-end project management from proposal stage through project closure
- Act as the primary point of contact for Japanese customers and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate project kick-offs, phase gate reviews, and cross-functional execution
- Manage scope, schedule, cost, risks, and change requests effectively
- Provide regular project status updates, dashboards, and reports to stakeholders
- Drive issue resolution with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
- Ensure strong customer communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct project closeout reviews and lessons-learned sessions
about the requirements
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on project management experience
- Semiconductor industry background with technical support or equipment exposure
- PMP certification is mandatory
- Strong controller mindset with strategic project management capability
- Proficiency in Japanese language is required (to support Japan market stakeholders)
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
