Lead High-Impact Offshore Projects as a Project Manager (EPCC Subsea Cable Laying)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of subsea cable laying projects within offshore and marine environments. This role will oversee the full EPCC project lifecycle, including engineering coordination, offshore installation, vessel operations, subcontractor management, client interfaces, and project execution.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing subsea cable installation projects, offshore marine operations, and multidisciplinary teams across complex offshore developments.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the execution and delivery of subsea cable laying and offshore installation projects from initiation to completion
- Manage project schedules, engineering deliverables, offshore operations, procurement coordination, and installation activities
- Coordinate with engineering, marine operations, survey, logistics, procurement, and offshore teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Oversee offshore installation activities including cable lay operations, burial/ploughing, ROV operations, testing, and shore pull activities
- Support project planning involving vessel utilization, marine spreads, installation sequencing, and offshore logistics
- Review and manage technical procedures, installation methodologies, work packs, and engineering documentation
- Monitor project risks, technical deviations, installation performance, and mitigation plans and cost optimization
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and offshore service providers to ensure quality and timely project execution
- Act as the primary technical and project interface with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Lead project meetings, progress reviews, technical discussions, and stakeholder coordination sessions
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, offshore HSE standards, and industry regulations
- Support variation orders, claims management, and project reporting activities
What you should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Offshore, or related discipline)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore, subsea, or marine EPCC projects
- Proven experience managing subsea cable laying projects, offshore installation campaigns, or marine construction projects
- Strong understanding of subsea cable installation methodologies, offshore engineering, and marine operations
- Experience working with cable laying vessels (CLVs), offshore spreads, ROV operations, and cable burial activities
- Familiar with submarine telecommunications cables, offshore power cables, offshore wind export cables, or fiber optic cable systems
- Strong stakeholder management, project coordination, and leadership capabilities
- Ability to manage offshore project schedules, technical interfaces, and multidisciplinary teams under project pressure
- PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage
- Willing to travel internationally and support offshore operations when required
