The role
You will play a key role in shaping and winning automation projects by translating customer needs into commercially viable, technically sound, and competitive solutions.
You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the sales process from initial opportunity development and site assessment through solution design, costing, proposal presentation, negotiation, and project handover.
This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with commercial acumen and enjoys developing innovative automation solutions that deliver measurable value to customers.
What you'll be doing:
- Drive lead generation and order intake for Jungheinrich automated solutions.
- Develop compelling customer value propositions and support the sales team in positioning automation solutions effectively.
- Design, conceptualise, configure, and cost automated solutions based on customer requirements.
- Conduct site assessments, analyse operational needs, and assess the technical and commercial feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Manage automation sales opportunities in a timely and goal-oriented manner, in line with APAC standards, tools, guidelines, and processes.
- Prepare responses to RFQs, including solution layouts, cost calculations, quotations, technical clarifications, deviations, and project pricing.
- Develop and deliver high-quality proposals and presentations that clearly communicate the benefits and value of the proposed solution.
- Present, negotiate, and refine proposals with customers to support successful project conversion.
- Support contract definition and review, working with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure key commercial and technical requirements are addressed.
- Coordinate customer reference visits, demonstrations, trade fairs, and customer events where required.
- Support the project handover and implementation process by facilitating internal and external kick-off meetings and overseeing the preparation of system specifications.

- Coordinate internal and external vendors to ensure proposed solutions are competitive, executable, and aligned with customer expectations.
- Deliver responsive, professional, and high-quality technical sales support throughout the automation sales cycle.
What we look for:
Professional qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, preferably with a focus on intralogistics, automation, or material handling systems.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical sales, solution sales, or project sales within warehouse automation, intralogistics, or material handling.
- Strong technical knowledge of automated logistics solutions, material flow technologies, system design, and solution costing.
- Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in business English and the relevant local language.
