Position: Project Manager (Construction) - MULTIPLE ROLEs
Location: Malaysia
Salary Package: Up to RM150,000 per annum
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage end-to-end construction projects, with a strong focus on civil and structural works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full project management lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and project closure
- Lead project planning activities, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Manage project costs, variation orders, and overall financial performance
- Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings to ensure alignment with timelines
- Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders
- Oversee contractor performance and ensure deliverables meet contractual obligations
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering
Experience
- Proven experience managing construction projects end-to-end
- Strong exposure to civil and structural works
- Experience in industrial or utility projects will be an added advantage
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and lifecycle
- Solid technical knowledge in civil/structural engineering
- Prefer someone able to speak multiple local languages (Malay & Chinese)
- Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
