The Role

We are looking for a PMP-certified Project Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on delivery experience to join our Project Management team in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage projects end-to-end from initiation through closure, working closely with customers, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver within scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.

This role reports into senior project leadership and is ideal for a structured, detail-oriented PM who thrives on execution and customer communication within a fast-paced technology environment.

What You Will Do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects against defined scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource plans aligned to customer requirements and business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all project phases, from initiation through closure.
• Track project progress and provide regular structured reporting on milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues to stakeholders and project leadership.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests through established governance frameworks.
• Monitor and track project budgets, flag cost variances, and support resource utilization reporting.
• Manage day-to-day stakeholder and customer communication, driving timely issue resolution and escalating to senior leadership when required.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

What We Are Looking For

Must-Have (Non-Negotiable)

• Active Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification - applications without a valid PMP will not be considered.
• At least 5 years of project management experience, with a focus on structured delivery in IT, telecommunications, connectivity, or technology services.
• Proven end-to-end project ownership: planning, execution, stakeholder management, risk governance, and project closure.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets and tracking cost performance.
• Strong client-facing and internal communication skills - written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Good to Have

• Experience in managed network services, ISP, connectivity, or cybersecurity project delivery.
• Familiarity with network concepts such as SD-WAN, MPLS, DIA, or enterprise connectivity solutions.
• Hands-on experience with project tools such as Jira or MS Project.
• Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or ITIL frameworks.
