Job Description

Synergy is a fast-expanding Energy Service Company (ESCO) listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (1539.hk) with operations around the globe, e.g. China, Malaysia, Indonesia and South Africa. We provide full range of energy efficiency technologies and clean energy solutions to well-known multinational companies for different sectors including property developers, public utility companies, retail conglomerates, etc. To cope with our rapidly growing business in green technologies, we welcome high caliber candidates to apply for the position of Project Officer -Finance.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To manage receivables invoicing & collection.
  • Responsible for various financial reporting deliverables in accordance with internal policies, financial reporting standards and relevant laws and regulations.
  • To maintain proper and accurate accounts records and filings.
  • To liaise with other departments on finance and accounts related matters.
  • Providing support or assistant for external audit, tax reporting and submission of government returns.
  • To perform finance/banking operations: prepare invoices, debit/credit notes, statement of accounts, vendor registration and etc.
  • To undertake any assignments as required by superior and management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting, and/or Finance, business or its equivalent. A fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
  • Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good interpersonal, coordination and communication skills.
  • Systematic, independent and good in time management.
  • Detail-minded, organized, willing to learn.
  • Willing to work extra hours.
  • Good presentation skills.
