Job Description

Job Responsibilities:-

  1. Develop, implement and maintain an effective scheduling management system.
  2. Prepare project(s) program/schedule covering entire scope and within defined timelines.
  3. Calculate and prepare Manpower Requirement & Machinery Requirement for planning sheet.
  4. Coordinate project timeline with internal departments from Technical, Project, Commercial, Procurement and Legal team on day-to-day basis during planning and project execution phase.
  5. Coordinate project(s) timeline with external customer and consultant on day-to-day basis during planning and project execution phase.
  6. Collect periodic updates and prepare daily, weekly and monthly updates of the project.
  7. Train and guide Project Managers and Project Engineers to ensure they understand the work program structure and scheduling requirements.
  8. Ensure all Project Managers and Project Engineers are able to update project progress and make necessary adjustments to their own work programs independently.
  9. Identify potential project(s) schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timely manner.
  10. Evaluate contractor's performance and prepare project progress reports.
  11. Recommend actions to keep projects within approved completion time.
  12. Create variance report at various stages of the project to analyse deviations.
  13. Assist the Project Manager to perform delay analysis and prepare EOT application's document for submission to the project owner.
  14. Assist the Project Manager to assess subcontractor's EOT application and make recommendation to HOD on the subcontractor's entitlement based on the contract.
  15. Create Project Closing Reports and Lesson Learned.
  16. Any adhoc assignment or duties assigned by the Superior/HOD.

Job Requirement:-

  1. Candidate must possess at lease Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate / Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or electrical engineering or equivalent.
  2. At least 1-2 years in small or large-scale solar PV project management experience, HV construction activities experience or related field.
  3. Contract management experience candidate will be advantageous.
  4. Required Skills: Project Management & Coordination, contract management and supervisory Skills
  5. Ability to solve problems and manage conflicts.
  6. Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  7. Excellent networking, leadership, negotiation, and time management skills.
  8. Must be willing to travel to project sites as when required within Malaysia, able to work independently and deliver the project completion in timely manner.
  9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal).
  10. Well verse in Computer Skills i.e. Microsoft Office, Cloud Sharepoint and etc related to the job description.
