About the Job
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Project Sales Executive to grow and manage project-based sales for tiles. This role focuses on developing key accounts within the construction and property development ecosystem, including developers, architects, consultants, QS, and contractors. The ideal candidate is proactive, commercially savvy, and confident in managing the entire project sales cyclefrom specification to collection and after-sales coordination.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and grow project-based business opportunities with key stakeholders such as developers, architects, consultants, QS, project specifiers, and contractors.
Build strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and project decision-makers to secure specifications and close sales.
Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and all related sales documentation, including tiles, sanitary wares, and fittings sample boards for presentations.
Achieve individual sales targets and KPIs set by the company on a monthly and annual basis.
Coordinate closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth project execution and timely order fulfillment.
Invite and guide potential customers to the showroom to experience the full product range.
Plan and execute sales approaches and client presentations to develop proposals and successfully close projects.
Manage payment collections by monitoring customer ageing reports and working closely with the Accounts team to resolve overdue payments.
Attend to after-sales service matters in collaboration with the TQA/technical team to resolve customer issues efficiently and promptly.
Prepare regular sales reports and perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
Qualifications & Experiences Needed
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Building/Construction, or related fields.
Minimum 13 years of experience in project sales, preferably in tiles, sanitary wares, building materials, or construction-related industries.
Strong network with developers, architects, consultants, QS, and contractors will be a strong advantage.
Good presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage project timelines.
Comfortable with documentation, quotations, and basic sales administration.
Possess own transport and willing to travel for project and client visits.
Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin-speaking.
