Promax Processor

Summary:

He/She will be responsible for the processing and analysis of geophysical data using Promax software in offshore environments. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of seismic data processing, contributing to marine exploration projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Data Processing:

• Utilize Promax software to process and analyze seismic data collected during offshore surveys.
• Ensure data quality through rigorous quality control checks and validation processes.

Data Interpretation:

• Collaborate with geophysicists and other team members to interpret processed data and generate meaningful insights.
• Prepare visual representations of data to aid in the understanding of subsurface conditions.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with project managers and field personnel to align data processing efforts with project objectives.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior processors in the use of Promax and data processing techniques.

Equipment Management:

• Support the setup and calibration of data acquisition equipment used in offshore surveys.
• Troubleshoot any technical issues related to data processing or equipment malfunction.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations during offshore operations.
• Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to safety drills.

Requirements:

-Education: Bachelor's degree in Geophysics or Geoscience.

-Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine seismic data processing, with a focus on using Promax, RadexPro software. Previous offshore experience is preferred.

-Technical Skills: Proficiency in Promax or RadexPro software for seismic data processing. Familiarity with other geophysical data processing tools (e.g.,CODA, SonarWhiz, SMT Kingdom, Wadugs, ACAD, GIS) and techniques.

-Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. --Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced offshore environment.

-Certifications: Relevant safety certifications (e.g., STCW, HUET) are advantageous.

-Malaysian Citizen only and willing to work Offshore.
