Position Overview

The Proposal Engineer (South Asia) will be part of the Global Proposal Team, responsible for developing and delivering high-quality technical and commercial proposals for customers in the South Asia region. The role involves close coordination with the Global Proposal Lead, Regional Sales Teams, and the PFC Asia Head to ensure timely, accurate, and competitive proposal submissions aligned with business strategies and customer requirements.

Job Description

  • Support proposal preparation, including technical documentation, cost estimation, and bid strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Global Proposal Lead to align regional proposals with global standards, processes, and templates.
  • Work closely with Sales and PFC Asia Head to interpret customer requirements and define optimal technical solutions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional input (engineering, sourcing, finance, legal) to develop comprehensive proposals.
  • Track, manage, and report proposal status, risks, and opportunities within defined timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial guidelines, and customer specifications.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • 3–5 years of experience in proposal, tendering, or project estimation (preferably in industrial or energy sectors).
  • Good knowledge of design tools (Autodesk, solidworks, NX etc.)
  • Strong understanding of technical documentation, cost structures, and bid processes.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed environment with multiple time zones.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
