Position Summary:
Provide operational support to the PRS Operations
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Daily Tasks
- Uploading the feed files (duly processed information by the Transfer Agency (TA) Service provider) and images to PPA portal on daily basis.
- Conduct pre-onboarding Anti Money Laundering (AML) screening for new customers in a software premised on input information received from AIA Service Branches and other channels of PRS distribution on daily basis.
- Escalate hit alert of the AML screening results to Compliance Officer (if any) and to notify TA Service Provider to accept/ reject new PRS applicants for onboarding and onward unit creation.
- Attending to the rejected transactions provided by the TA Service Provider on daily basis by e-mail communication in effort to make good the shortfall of the rejected transactions.
- Keeping track of e-mail responses from agents/ customers for the amendments, information and documentations required and to ensure that applications that have been duly made good be forwarded to TA Service Provider for onward processing.
- Preparing Memo for Superior review/ approval re: request Finance Department to refund the proceeds for declined applications to the payors.
- Monitoring and upload into PPA portal for pre-withdrawal (death, serious disease, permanent disablement, housing & heathcare) and Transfer of Provider applications.
- Providing Large Amount Questionaire (LAQ) Form for the Agents/ Customers to complete and the follow up action thereto to ensure the duly completed LAQs have been returned for respective Head of Department's sign-off.
- Handling Nomination form (checking, verifying, recording, uploading and monitoring success/reject status).
- Dealing with enquiries from AIA Service Branches, AIA sales Agency team, Independent Financial Advisors (IFA) and other departments within the Company.
2. Reconciliation
- Checking the pre-onboarding AMLA screening reconciliation provided by TA Service Provider to ensure no omission by either the TA Service Provider nor the AIA Service Branches.
- Check the branch wise count control report provided by TA Service Provider (reconciliation of Logbook against images submitted by AIA Service Branches). Deviation, if any, is to be clarified with TA Service Provider/ AIA Service branches.
- To assist in periodic position reconciliation of APAM's record vs PPA record.
3. Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly & Monthly Reports
- Prepare withdrawal tax penalty report and memo for Superior review/ approval to Finance Department re: for payment to LHDN on fortnight basis.
- Prepare daily sales report for Management, weekly & monthly sales reports to Agency Distribution, monthly rejection report to AIA Sales Team and AIA Branches and daily confirmation & monthly reports to IFAs.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Education Diploma or Degree in any field.
- Prior knowledge and experience in Asset Management Company is preferable, but not compulsory
- Positive attitude towards learning
