Psychology Research Intern (Un-paid)
BalanceBuddy is an early-stage mental well-being platform focused on accessible, ethical mental health awareness especially for people who feel lost, overwhelmed, or unsupported by traditional systems.
We're looking for a Psychology Research Intern to support our content, awareness, and education efforts through research-driven insights.
What you'll do:
- Research psychology and mental health topics relevant to Gen Z & young adults
- Translate academic or evidence-based insights into clear, non-clinical summaries
- Suggest content angles for:
- social media posts & reels
- podcast discussion points
- workshops & awareness campaigns
- Identify credible sources (journals, WHO, APA, etc.)
Flag sensitive topics that require expert review
This role is research & awareness-focused not therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.
Who we're looking for:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate student in Psychology / Counseling / Behavioral Science
- Strong research and summarization skills
- Able to explain complex ideas in simple, human language
- Interested in mental health ethics, accessibility, and harm reduction
- Comfortable working in an early-stage, evolving environment
