Responsibilities
- Ensure all assigned public areas, restrooms, function rooms, and back-of-house areas are clean and well maintained
- Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of pantries and storage areas
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and ensure proper usage at all times
- Ensure all public areas meet hotel hygiene, safety, and presentation standards
- Coordinate effectively with Housekeeping team leaders and other departments
- Support environmental and sustainability initiatives through proper waste management and energy conservation
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or public area cleaning experience in a hotel environment preferred
- Good understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Positive attitude with strong customer service skills
- Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Honest, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
