Purchaser (Based in Malaysia, 1 year contract WFH)

Location: Malaysia (Remote). This position is a 1 year contract role, and will be placed under an Employment Agency.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to manage material to meet production schedule
• Manage ECO, Quality issue, Shipment/Invoice discrepancy
• Do rescheduling report and expediting purchase order from supplier
• Prepare material CTB report and highlight main gating items
• Propose solution for the shortage such as alternate material and buy from open market
• Ensure on accuracy and completeness of purchasing database and commitment report
• Manage monthly inventory level to minimize stock holding

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of studies
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in EMS industry
• Knowledgeable in SAP ERP will be advantageous
• Possess good computer skills including MS Office and strong in Microsoft Excel
• Able to work under tight timeline and pressure
• Proficient in English Language (both spoken and written) to liaise with various stakeholders
• Proficiency in Chinese Language is an added bonus to liaise with various stakeholders
