Purchasing Executive (Direct materials)

A globally known organization in the automotive manufacturing environment seeks a top-tier Purchasing Executive to be a part of their growing team based in Selangor.

Your new role

-Work closely with suppliers to track purchase orders, manage delivery progress, and support expediting activities when required
-Communicate order status, delivery improvements, or delays clearly and timely to internal stakeholders
-Manage supplier agreements and maintain accurate purchasing and item master data to meet compliance and finance requirements
-Support purchasing initiatives, projects, and prepare relevant reports or presentations

What you'll need to succeed

-Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience within a manufacturing or production environment
-Experience requesting quotations, reviewing pricing, and supporting supplier negotiations
-Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; exposure to ERP systems is an advantage
