Job Title: Sourcing Executive / Sourcing Specialist (Manufacturing)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Sourcing Executive to support factory procurement operations by managing supplier sourcing, purchase orders, and material supply to ensure smooth production. The role involves sourcing raw materials, steel, MRO items, and PCBA components while coordinating with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and manage suppliers for steel materials, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) items, and PCBA components to support manufacturing operations.
- Manage purchase orders including order placement, delivery tracking, and ensuring pricing accuracy.
- Monitor supplier performance, capacity, and delivery schedules to ensure continuous material supply to the factory.
- Conduct supplier evaluation and capacity planning to ensure adequate supply for production requirements.
- Work closely with production planning to adjust delivery schedules based on changing demand.
- Monitor market conditions for steel, electronic components, and industrial consumables and provide updates to procurement strategies.
- Manage raw material and component inventory levels to support production while minimizing excess stock.
- Coordinate with quality teams and suppliers to resolve issues related to incoming material defects or quality abnormalities.
- Manage the return, replacement, or disposal process for defective materials with suppliers and internal teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 25 years experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
- Experience sourcing steel materials, MRO items, or PCBA/electronic components is highly preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and coordination skills
