We are seeking for a Purchasing Manager role who is able to lead and mentor a purchasing team. He/she reports to Business Development Director, he/she required to develop SOP for purchasing function, prepare management report and manage consignment projects and submit on a monthly sales report to vendors. He/she must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Logistics and Operations Management or related studies with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Manage and assist in leading and managing team members in purchasing and inventory control.
- Developing and documenting standard operating procedures for purchasing function.
- Verify inventory closing reports and posting.
- Prepare management reports and submit to finance team.
- Manage consignment projects and submission on monthly sales reports to vendors.
- Manage return of delisted and excessive stocks to vendors.
- Coordinating incoming shipments, as and when necessary.
- To perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics and Operations Management or related studies
- At least of 5 to 6 years of relevant working experience
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially in MS Excel and MS Word)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines
