Job Description

Job Summary

• Take in charge all the material purchasing which are produced in oversea factory.

• Improve oversea purchasing standard process.

• Deal with excess or slow-moving PO in supplier side including coordination on rescheduling, cancellation or return where applicable.

• Develop oversea purchasing team: include hiring team member, setting KPI target and training the related purchasing skill.

• Work closely with stakeholder to support production requirements and business needs.

• Manage and monitor supplier performance and relationship in terms of delivery, cost and quality.

• Lead price negotiation and cost reduction initiatives.

• Any ad-hoc tasks as per assigned by hiring manager.

Required Experience

• Min. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in management / leadership role specifically in manufacturing industry with proven track record.

• Fluent in Mandarin, English and Malay for effective communication and negotiations with diverse suppliers and stakeholders.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using SAP or other ERP system.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
