Job Description

  • Handle daily purchasing tasks as directed by superiors.
  • Plan and coordinate purchases based on production schedules to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, source suppliers, and improve price comparison and quotation processes.
  • Follow ISO procedures and company policies in all procurement activities.
  • Ensure supplier quality, track procurement progress, and manage related documents.
  • Develop new suppliers through competitive evaluation to support product development.
  • Promote local sourcing and cost savings.
  • Verify supplier invoices and process payments.
  • Adjust plans for urgent needs and coordinate with other departments.
  • Prepare monthly procurement plans and budgets with finance.
  • Monitor and resolve material quality issues.
  • Protect company interests and handle supplier disputes.
  • Assist with procurement for related subsidiaries.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or higher in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good in cost control and price analysis.
  • Familiar with:
  1. ISO9001, IATF16949quality systems
  2. ISO14000environmental standards
  3. Procurement management systems
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) is necessary for interactions with Mandarin-speaking principals.
  • Must be willing to work inPasir Gudang.
