Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Officer located in Damansara. The Purchasing Officer will handle tasks such as processing purchase orders and requisitions, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely supply of ingredients, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. Additionally, the role involves analyzing purchasing data and market trends to optimize cost efficiency and procurement strategies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Purchasing Processes, including creating and managing Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions
• Strong Contract Negotiation skills and the ability to build successful supplier relationships
• Excellent Analytical Skills to evaluate purchasing trends and financial implications
• Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and proficiency in procurement-related software
• Diploma /Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in the retailing or manufacturing industry is a plus
