Job Description

SCOPE OF ROLE:

Assisting in handling PO system, prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment. To assist with daily departmental activities and purchasing function.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To assist with purchasing functions and manage daily departmental operation.
  • Prepare purchase order and send to related vendors.
  • Work with vendors to follow up on deliver dates and back orders.
  • To handle purchasing works such as quotations, purchase order to supplier, monitor delivery of products.
  • To review, verify and check the details of DO & PO
  • Ensuring the goods are delivered on time.
  • Work with all departments as require and good communication.
  • To undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any field or equivalent.
  • Computer literate
  • Required language(s): English or Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Penang.
  • Candidate must be good in negotiation skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Independent and able to work under pressure and multi-tasking environment.
