Oversee all organizational procurement activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and implementing effective long-term sourcing strategies.
Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with global and local suppliers. Execute complex negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and quality standards.
Manage inventory levels to balance optimal stock availability with working capital efficiency. Ensure the punctual delivery of materials to prevent production downtime.
Direct day-to-day purchasing operations, maintaining meticulous records of all transactions for audit and financial reporting purposes.
Partner with internal departments (Engineering, Production, and Finance) to align procurement activities with broader business objectives and technical requirements.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years in purchasing and international supply chain management. Prior exposure to aluminum, steel, or heavy industrial sectors is highly preferred.
Advanced negotiation and team management capabilities.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to navigate multilingual and multicultural business environments.
Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite. Practical experience with Oracle ERP systems is considered a significant competitive advantage.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering) is typically expected for this seniority.
