Description

Are you a detail-focused bids or proposals professional looking to take the next step in an international environment We're looking for a Pursuits Executive to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, supporting high-impact work across global markets.

The Role

As a Pursuits Executive, you'll support and lead a wide range of bid and proposal activity across the firm's international markets. This is a full-service role, offering involvement at every stage of the bid lifecycle—from identifying opportunities through to submission and client feedback.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Opportunity identification: Monitoring and identifying relevant tender opportunities through online and press sources in line with strategic priorities
  • Bid delivery: Supporting major bids while taking ownership of routine tenders, proposals and submissions, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Project management: Coordinating timelines, drafting responses, managing documentation and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Content development: Drafting and refining proposal content, managing bid libraries, and maintaining up-to-date credentials and track records
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Working closely with partners, fee earners and BD colleagues to shape compelling responses
  • Client interaction: Managing clarification queries, supporting presentations, and attending debriefs to continuously improve performance
  • Process ownership: Acting as a point of expertise for bid templates, tools and processes
You'll be part of a close-knit bids team within a wider Marketing & Business Development function of 30+ professionals, providing strong support, development and collaboration opportunities.

The Candidate

We're looking for a proactive, organised and motivated individual who brings experience in bids or proposals within a professional services environment.

You will have:
  • At least 2 years experience working on bids, proposals or tenders
  • Experience within professional services (legal experience is desirable but not essential)
  • Familiarity with tender portals and online bidding tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively
  • A proactive mindset with the confidence to work independently and take initiative
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach
You'll also be numerate, willing to develop pricing knowledge, and interested in learning about tender scoring and strategy.
