Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong expertise in Django, SQL, and backend application development. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable web applications and RESTful APIs, preferably in the E-commerce/Retail domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python and Django.
Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and third-party services.
Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.
Collaborate with Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, QA, and DevOps teams.
Implement best practices for code quality, performance optimization, and security.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production support.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.

Required Skills

2+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
Strong expertise in Django framework.
Good knowledge of Flask or FastAPI is an added advantage.
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MS SQL).
Experience in designing and developing REST APIs.
Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.

Domain Experience (Preferred)

Experience in E-commerce, Retail, Marketplace, or B2B/B2C Commerce platforms.
Exposure to order management, product catalog, pricing, promotions, inventory, checkout, or payment integrations.
Experience integrating with payment gateways, logistics, or third-party commerce services is a plus.
