Description
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Execute manual and automated tests and document the results.
- Identify, report, and track defects and issues in software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
- Participate in the development of testing strategies and methodologies to improve software quality.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that software updates do not introduce new issues.
- Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-6 years of experience in QA engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
