Position based in Petaling Jaya
Job Responsibilities:
Manage site-Wide Food Safety and Quality Assurance System
- Oversee compliance with external accreditation requirements and identify new accreditation opportunities to support Business Unit initiatives.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the site's Quality System and HACCP Program in accordance with FSSC 22000:2010 and GQS requirements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the quality system to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage the One Asia Consumer Contact Centre
- Oversee Consumer Contact Centre operations across Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Asia Export for locally manufactured, co-manufactured, and imported products.
- Provide technical support for complaint resolution and manage regulatory matters involving external parties.
KPI Reporting and Quality Review
- Ensure accurate and timely updates on Quality KPI reporting as per the required timelines (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
- Collaborate with relevant Quality personnel to obtain necessary information and data for KPI reporting.
- Prepare for quarterly or annual quality review and management review meetings, including meeting arrangements, presentation slides, and minutes.
Site Quality and Food Safety Culture
- Lead initiatives to promote and enhance the site's quality and food safety culture, including the management of the site quality and food safety culture scorecard.
- Develop and roll out programs or activities aimed at fostering a strong quality and food safety culture at the site
Management of QA Documentation and Document Control
- Act as the site document controller, overseeing the management and maintenance of the site's document control system to ensure compliance and accessibility of QA documentation.
- Manage a team responsible for supporting document control processes, including the update, issuance, and distribution of documents as needed.
- Ensure that key QA documents, such as Certificates of Analysis (CoA), product specifications, and process flowcharts, are managed effectively and in compliance with regulations.
Key Requirements For Successful Applicant:
- Bachelor's degrees in Food Science/Food Technology or related science.
- Comprehensive understanding of quality management systems, including FSSC 22000, ISO 9000, and HACCP standards.
- Familiarity with regional food safety regulations and compliance requirements across Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and other markets.
- Knowledge of consumer complaint management processes and best practices in quality assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective complaint resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to lead and develop teams, assessing training needs and implementing effective programs.
