Job Description

Responsibility:

1. Serve as focal point of contact for customers on quality-related matters with minimal supervision.

2. Ensure products meet customer specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

3. Lead customer audits preparation, coordination, and follow-up on audit findings.

4. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation; ensure timely closure and effectiveness verification.

5. Prepare and maintain quality documentation (Control Plan, Inspection Reports, FAI, PPAP documents where applicable).

6. Monitor quality performance metrics and drive improvement actions based on data analysis.

7. Identify process improvement opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

8. Provide technical guidance to QA Technicians on inspection methods and quality requirements.

9. Participate in new product introduction (NPI), including pretest, first article inspection, and buyoff.

10. Support QMS implementation, audit compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

11. Handle internal non-conformance and support MRB activities.

12. Ensure compliance to ISO standards, safety practices, SOP, and company policies.

13. Mentor and coach E1 on quality standards and documentation best practices.

Requirement:

  1. Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or equivalent.
  2. 2–5 years in manufacturing/quality environment.
  3. Good understanding of inspection methods, GD&T interpretation, measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, height gauge), problem-solving tools (8D, 5Why), and quality documentation.
