Job Responsibilities:-
- Implement and maintain project QA/QC procedures, inspection & Test Plants (ITP), and quality documentation
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) installations works to ensure compliance with project specifications and approved drawings.
- Coordinate site inspections with consultants, clients and subcontractors
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, contractual requirements and applicable regulations
- Review material submissions, shop drawings, method statements and preventive actions
- Witness testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems and ensure proper documentation is maintained
- Prepare and submit QA/QC reports, inspection records and handover documentation
- Liaise closely with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to resolve quality related issues
- Support internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO Quality Management System requirements
- Ensure all project quality records are properly maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC functions within construction projects involving MEP works
- Experience in industrial buildings, manufacturing facilities, data center, warehouse, commercial buildings or large-scale construction project will be highly preferred
- Familiar with QA/QC procedures, Inspections & Test Plans (ITP), material inspections and commissioning processes
- Experience handling quality documentation, NCR management and project quality reporting
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System will be an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specification and technical documents
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
