Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Supervisor (MEP) to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field, along with substantial experience in quality assurance and quality control within the construction industry. The QA/QC Supervisor (MEP) will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the required quality standards and comply with project specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure mechanical, electrical and plumbing works comply with quality standards, drawings, and project specifications.
- Conduct inspections on materials, workmanship, and installation for all mechanical, electrical and plumbing elements.
- Supervise site activities related to all mechanical, electrical and plumbing elements.
- Maintain and update QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, material test records, system testing and commissioning records.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all site activities.
- Coordinate with project teams to identify and resolve quality issues, recommending corrective and preventive actions where necessary.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall project quality and workmanship standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in QA/QC within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
- This position requires working on-site at construction projects.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Occasional travel may be required
