Jabil, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician to perform quality inspections and testing of products and processes, ensuring adherence to established standards and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of products according to quality control plans and specifications.
- Perform various tests on materials, components, and finished goods using appropriate equipment and methodologies.
- Document inspection and test results accurately and completely, identifying and reporting any non-conformances.
- Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support the development and revision of quality control documentation, including work instructions and inspection procedures.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems is a plus.
