Title: QA Lead

Must have: Selenium+ Java + creating test scripts from scratch

Work experience:

Experienced: 2-6 years of experience working as a QA lead on various projects. QA analyst team coordination and practice of agile methodology.

Senior: > 6years of experience working as a QA Lead/ QA manager on strategic initiatives. Coordination of one or several testing teams. Good understanding of development processes associated with an understanding of automation in testing.

Work experience in Finance, banking or insurance industry is preferred.

Academic requirements :

Bachelor's or master degree in information technology and/or other demonstrated learning path (eg. Bootcamp) can be accepted.

Certification (ISTQB is a must have and ITIL is a +)

Required technical Skills :

Testing methodology and strategy definition

Project management methodology

Software development lifecycle methodology

Information Security & Risk Management fundamentals

Practical experience of SDLC frameworks

Computer literacy competent with MS Office, Jira, Test repository and Mgt tool (Squash TM , ALM or equivalent)

Knowledge of Fund distribution services, Fund accounting, Banking or Custody services

Main responsibilities:

Establish test strategy documents based on allocated project

Responsible for managing test activities and aligning to Company Quality Engineering practices

Ensure that agreed test objectives are met through test case vs. requirements coverage, detailed test step preparation, prioritization andproper and accurate recording and tracking of test execution

Coordinate and oversight deliveries of QA analyst / automation team

Review, challenge & report on QA artefacts (Estimation, Prioritization, Test strategy, Test schedule, Test execution, Test Result, Defect tracking, UAT coordination, Status, ) in a concise, accurate, timely and professional manner

Ensure that test phases are prepared and executed in accordance with applicable methodology and frameworks

Prepare test execution report and collect Sign off from required approvers

Define test environment and test support requirements for all testing activities and subsequently ensure that requirements are met

Facilitate escalation, prioritization and resolution of issues raised during testing activities

Setup, support & administer own project in Test repository tool (Squash)

Responsible for creating/executing and maximizing automation of complex test cases through the application lifecycle (functional) including continuous testing

Effectively communicates and builds rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close

Resolves conflicts/issues and escalates others as appropriate
